All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Please note that potential delays due to a high volume of orders, or postal service problems are outside of our control.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

We offer $12 flat rate shipping within Canada. 

Free shipping for CANADIAN orders over $99.

Shipping PhiloSophie Hair & Body Soufflés in Summer months

At PhiloSophie Hair, we’re dedicated to keeping our products 100% natural and free of harmful synthetic chemicals. We do not use synthetic stabilizers, and do not formulate our light and fluffy Hair & Body Soufflés with any beeswax. As a result, our delicate natural products are sensitive to temperature changes. During very warm weather, products may soften or even melt in transit, as they sit in warm mail trucks, and mailboxes. Here are some tips if your PhiloSophie Hair Soufflé has melted:

Open your jar slowly, and check to see if melting has occurred. If it is melted, place, your PhiloSophie Hair & Body Soufflé in the refrigerator. 

*The quality and healing properties of our products are not affected by melting.*

Melting does not affect the quality of our Soufflé as a great moisturizer, but the whipped consistency will change. It will become more like a body balm. Whipping adds tiny air bubbles bracket, just like whipping cream, and (just like whipping cream)  that increases the size, lightens the density and changes the texture, making our Soufflé light and fluffy.  When whipped products melt, the air bubbles are collapsed, so volume is decreased. Although our jars are filled to the top, if the Soufflé melts, there will be less volume in the container.

Try re-whipping your Soufflé with a fork or electric whisk beater. The melted Soufflé needs to be very cold for this to work.

 

What we are doing to help:

During hot weather, we do our best to protect our products from melting in transit. We check every product before it is packed for shipping. We wrap our delicate products in bubble wrap, and another padding to add another layer of insulation. 

As a result, most products shipped in warm weather, arrive without melting. But do you understand, we cannot control the high heat temperatures of summer,  delivery trucks and mailboxes.

 

How to check the status of your order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 21 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@philosophiehair.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
